Miss Bright Eyes

While I am usually a person who tends to go towards more neutral and pale colors in the makeup, I just can't resist this fun, bold eye makeup look! High fashion runway designers have been using this makeup technique on their models a lot lately because it really gives the runway show an artsy and fun feel. So do what the runway models do and wear a makeup look that's more bright and bold this season!

Saying Goodbye to Winter...

Here in Florida we have officially reached a toasty 82 degrees and it is still getting warmer! Though I will definitely miss what little bit of cold weather we were able to have during our Florida winter, I have finally broken out my spring/summer dresses, brightly colored shorts, and of course flip flops (a Florida staple!). I believe today was the last day that I am wearing a cardigan sweater in the Florida heat for awhile(or until it gets a little cooler out!). I have now collected well over 12 cardigan sweaters by now and they all have a special place in my closet. What I found is that one simple cardigan can pull any outfit together so effortlessly and with so many patterns and colors, there truly is a cardigan sweater for every outfit and for every occasion. So as you can tell it will be sad to bid adieu to these staple pieces that carried me throughout fall and winter. Color-blocking has popped up all over the fashion scene for awhile now. Everyone from Marc Jacobs to Gucci has implemented this trend on their runways. It's a blast of bright colors and perfect for the spring/summer season. Below, I want to show all of you how to wear this easy and fun trend for less. Whether your entire outfit consists of color-blocking or you just have a simple color-block accessory, it is very simple to pull this trend off for less.
